Introduction

Structural engineers are encountering many problems due to the hot climate and the other environmental conditions in gas plants. Quality control in construction of the reinforced concrete structure is a complete function which involves management, statistics and engineering. In a hot climate, it needs more precaution in concrete industry and on the construction of the building to match with the requirement to this weather. All the examples and real case studies for gas projects.

In this GLOMACS Construction and Concrete Building in Gas Plants training course will focus on using of understanding concrete technology, design of Reinforced concrete and design of steel structures. Moreover, all the activities of the construction projects, especially the concrete product. The quality control of the concrete is illustrated in scope of the different codes and specifications.

The petroleum industry’s interest to modify the structure in the on-shore facilities to carry more load or add more machines so the integrity management of change must be considered important. The composite section design and FRP will be presented in the course. The pushover analysis will be discussed to define the probability of failure for industrial structure. All example will be specifically related to oil and gas projects for most oil and gas companies worldwide.
