Introduction

Ethical principles provide the foundations for modern concepts for work and business. Individual and corporate priorities go beyond traditional business aims of profit and shareholder enrichment. Ethical factors also have significant influence on public sector organisations. Traditional priorities of service quality and cost management must now take account of these same ethical considerations.

Also, the increasing number of regulations and operational transparency, companies are adopting the use of compliance controls. This approach ensures that all necessary governance requirements can be met without the unnecessary duplication of effort and activity from resources. 

This workshop will feature:

  • The impact of ethical management and leadership
  • Improved employee performance and retention
  • The concept of  the 'triple bottom line'
  • The responsibilities of corporate governance and social enterprise
