Course Description

Introduction

Freight forwarding involves planning and executing shipments by all modes of transport. Equally, understanding routes, rates, and carriers, making arrangements for shipments, monitoring shipments, and managing transportation documentation is important. In this International Freight Management training course, it is critical to work closely with shippers, consignees, carriers, warehouses, packaging companies, financial institutions, and government agencies.

This training course will also enable delegates to appreciate and manage international shipping systems and documentation. Examples of global best practice are delivered throughout the training course to enable delegates to fully embed the learning in order that they can apply within their roles upon returning to their work following the course.
